Based in Seattle, the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington is one of a few institutions where Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, and Real Estate come together under one roof. We see the collaboration between the five fields within our college as an accurate reflection of how these disciplines intersect in the industry and community that surrounds us. We offer leading-edge programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, as well as a number of professional certificates.

Our faculty and students work with various constituents across campus to further expand their interdisciplinary scope of research. Our research, centers, and numerous initiatives collaborate across the University of Washington to identify and address the grand challenges of the 21st century—equitable urbanism, globalism, environmental justice, and sustainability.
