The individual and collaborative process of collecting, practicing,
evolving themes tectonically will be explored via a select group of
projects of varying scale and complexity. Family life, bike frame
construction, student design/build projects will be intertwined with
projects of technical resolution on the highest order. Life, design
and construction will be presented as inseparable.
Dan Wheeler, FAIA is one of 6 principals of the 14 person
architectural practice of Wheeler Kearns and is Professor of
Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has served
as Interim Director of the UIC School of Architecture and The Graham
Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts. He previously
worked in the Offices of Machado Silvetti Architects, Boston, and was
a studio head at SOM Chicago. He is a Graduate of the Rhode Island
School of Design.

Department of Architecture and the College of Built Environments. It
is free and open to the public.
