The College of Built Environments builds community through a series of annual events. We encourage you to visit our current events calendar to watch for these events and many more.

College Lecture Series

The BE Lecture Series is an ongoing lecture series sponsored by the University of Washington College of Built Environments. Each academic quarter we bring thoughtful, dynamic speakers from the professional community to discuss important issues in Architecture, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design & Planning.

Welcome Back Celebration

Each Fall we kick-off the academic year with a “Welcome Back Student Celebration” presented by the Dean’s office. Students, Faculty, and staff are invited to gather, pick up information about college-wide initiatives, and reconnect after the summer break.

Graduation Celebration

Each June prior to the University of Washington Commencement Ceremony we invite College of Built Environments graduating students, faculty, staff, family, and friends to celebrate their success. For more information about Graduation Celebration go here.

Recognition

Each Spring Quarter the College of Built Environments community gathers in Gould Court to distribute scholarships and awards to outstanding current students and faculty. This event recognizes donors and friends, our faculty and staff, and the students who are the recipients of their generosity.
